IMPORTANT! NEW STATE LAW!

New York State is requiring all Contractors and subcontractors to register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. This includes all public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. The registration applies to both New York State and out-of-state businesses.

NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule. Contractor registration data will be available to the public at New York’s Open Data website after December 30, 2024.

Elmira CSD EHS 2025 Capital Improvements
Description: General Trades Contract. Work consists of phased interior renovations and selective demolition within Elmira High School, executed primarily during the summer recess. Work includes removal of existing finishes and partitions, new framing and gypsum board assemblies, firestopping and life-safety upgrades, concrete slab infill and patching, masonry infill, miscellaneous structural steel, new doors, frames, hardware, interior glazing, ceilings, flooring, casework, specialty items, and associated architectural finishes.

Cornell University College Ave 301 Turnover
Description: 1. Provide sprinkler heads to areas that do not have sprinkler coverage to achieve full building coverage, and repair or replace existing sprinkler heads that are damaged or painted as noted on the drawings. 2. Install new fire alarm devices (initiating and notification) and reprogram the existing cellular dialer to report to Cornell’s central monitoring station at Barton Hall as noted on the Drawings. 3. SUNY Cortland Old Main ADA Bathroom Upgrades
Description: This project consists of an interior renovation of an existing restroom in Old Main at SUNY Cortland to provide ADA-compliant upgrades. The work includes selective demolition, installation of new plumbing fixtures, complete replacement of finishes at floors, walls, and ceilings, new lighting, and associated upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and dry sprinkler systems. The project is being delivered under a fixed-price contract with a published budget of $3,600,000. Bids are due March 12, 2026, with final completion required by August 5, 2027. MWBE participation goals of 30% apply, and liquidated damages are assessed per calendar day based on contract value.

Prattsburgh CSD Capital Project 2025
Description: General Construction Contract: The work includes renovations within the Main Building, construction of a new Toilet Room Facility, roof replacement at the Agricultural and Auxiliary Buildings, and related site improvements. Main Building renovations span multiple floors and include demolition of partitions, ceilings, doors, casework, and flooring; new partitions and doors; ceiling and finish upgrades; corridor and restroom improvements; and elevator removal preparation. The new Toilet Room Facility includes foundations, structure, exterior envelope, roofing, and interior finishes. Site work includes athletic field improvements, dugouts, parking and accessibility upgrades, stormwater improvements, canopy extension, and associated concrete, patching, and structural support work.
