IMPORTANT! NEW STATE LAW!

New York State is requiring all Contractors and subcontractors to register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. This includes all public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. The registration applies to both New York State and out-of-state businesses.

NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule. Contractor registration data will be available to the public at New York’s Open Data website after December 30, 2024.

Description: General Trades Contract. Includes work at the Elementary School (concession stand, field and track, main office and entrance, cafeteria, classrooms, toilet and new playground), High School (auditorium and gymnasium and toilet room renovations) and Bus Garage (overhead door replacement). Cornell University Rehabilitate Rice Hall (SUCF)
Description: SUCF Project Number: 161065. This project includes renovating all levels of Rice Hall, including the basement, attic, and three floors of programmed space. The renovation involves installing new mechanical systems, updating interior finishes, and creating modern office and classroom spaces to meet the university's business and academic needs. Additionally, the project addresses critical maintenance issues, such as replacing the roof and windows, repairing the masonry façade, replacing exterior underground utilities, and updating the driveway.

Description: The Goff Road Improvement scope consists of the alteration of an existing structure and select site improvements. Work shall include but is not limited to Abatement within the building, demolition of existing partitions, ceilings, and other various elements, new interior openings and finishes. Site improvements include asphalt replacement, construction of retaining wall,new loading dock and leveler with canopy. Other site improvements include new sidewalks, fencing and landscaping. The Project further consists of the construction of new pole style storage building with associated elements.
