IMPORTANT! NEW STATE LAW!

New York State is requiring all Contractors and subcontractors to register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024.
This includes all public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. The registration applies to both New York State and out-of-state businesses.

NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule. Contractor registration data will be available to the public at New York’s Open Data website after December 30, 2024.

SUNY Cortland Old Main ADA Bathroom Upgrades
Description: This project consists of an interior renovation of an existing restroom in Old Main at SUNY Cortland to provide ADA-compliant upgrades. The work includes selective demolition, installation of new plumbing fixtures, complete replacement of finishes at floors, walls, and ceilings, new lighting, and associated upgrades to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and dry sprinkler systems.

City of Binghamton Terminal Station Pump Upgrade
Description: The Terminal Pump Station Upgrade project for the City of Binghamton involves improvements to the existing wastewater pumping infrastructure located at 3936 Gates Road, Vestal, NY. The project will upgrade mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural components of the pump station to improve operational reliability and regulatory compliance. The work includes demolition of existing piping and equipment, installation of bypass pumping systems and vaults to maintain continuous sewer operations during construction, relocation of gas utilities, structural modifications to the station building, installation of new equipment and controls, and restoration of disturbed site features such as pavement and drainage structures.

Description: General Construction Contract: The work includes renovations within the Main Building, construction of a new Toilet Room Facility, roof replacement at the Agricultural and Auxiliary Buildings, and related site improvements. Main Building renovations span multiple floors and include demolition of partitions, ceilings, doors, casework, and flooring; new partitions and doors; ceiling and finish upgrades; corridor and restroom improvements; and elevator removal preparation. The new Toilet Room Facility includes foundations, structure, exterior envelope, roofing, and interior finishes. Site work includes athletic field improvements, dugouts, parking and accessibility upgrades, stormwater improvements, canopy extension, and associated concrete, patching, and structural support work.
