Projects Out for Bid

IMPORTANT! NEW STATE LAW!

New York State is requiring all Contractors and subcontractors to register with the New York State Department of Labor before submitting any new bids or commencing new work on a covered project on or after December 30, 2024. This includes all public work projects or private projects covered by Article 8 of the Labor Law. The registration applies to both New York State and out-of-state businesses.

NYSDOL encourages all contractors and subcontractors to register as soon as possible to obtain a Certificate of Registration to avoid negatively impacting a bidding period or project schedule. Contractor registration data will be available to the public at New York’s Open Data website after December 30, 2024.

Chemung County Centertown Parking Garage Elevator Modernization
Description: Contract 1 – General Construction. Scope of Work: General Construction: The work of this project shall consist of modernization of elevator A and elevator C. Cornell University Hurlburt House PTAC Replacement
Description: 1. Replace approximately 55 gas-powered Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) units with heat pumps. 2. Increase the electrical service to the building and add a marshalling box for a temporary generator if needed. 3. Remove existing gas lines feeding the current PTACs.

Cornell University Rhodes Hall B10 and B20 Lab Renovation
Description: The project consists of the renovation of two (2) basement level spaces within Rhodes Hall. The two renovated spaces are to become a laser lab containing a crane and equipment platform. The project includes abatement of two (2) doors and replacement of four (4) doors used for egress from the spaces. Utilities are being provided to accommodate MEP needs for the equipment and lab furniture, laser safety, access control, and a shielded room.

Cornell University Duffield Hall Lab 313 Nitride MOCVD
Description: 1. Demolish existing laboratory space to enable existing lab hood to be relocated on the other side of the lab. 2. Modify existing facility services, and install new services, to support new laboratory equipment, 3. Install owner provided laboratory equipment, connect equipment to facility services, and support equipment commissioning.

Cornell University Duffield Hall Cleanroom Laboratory Renovation and Equipment Fit-Out – Phase I
Description: This project will execute demolition and construction activities outlined in the drawing package to enable equipment to be safely installed, commissioned, and operated. This includes HVAC demolition and upgrades, process gas piping work, high purity RO water system expansion, and associated fit and finish work to enable new equipment to be installed in the space.
